Zachary Scott is a Financial Advisorwith a CFP® designation at Securian

A graduate of the Honors College of Loyola University Maryland, Mr.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a
concentration in Finance. He holds his FINRA Series 7 (General Securities
Representative Examination) and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law
Examination) registrations and obtained his Maryland Life & Health
Insurance license in August of 2016. He also earned his CERTIFIED
FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation in 2017 and completed Dale
Carnegie®’s Skills for Success communication course in 2019.

Throughout the course of Mr. Scott’s career, he has constructed over
500 unique financial plans. Prior to joining Securian in August of 2020, he
was a Lead Advisor at BFG Financial Advisors where he spent six years
developing and executing his financial planning philosophy. He
worked closely with his clients, guiding and educating them while
building their customized financial plan.

When not at work, Mr. Scott spends time at home with his wife, Karen,
and adopted greyhound, Gordon. He is a passionate St. Louis Cardinals
fan, and enjoys playing softball in a social sports league. He also enjoys
volunteering with local organizations, including the Maryland Food
Bank, and is looking forward to getting more involved with charities in
his community.
