In 2014, after more than 20-years as a consultant in Corporate IT, Tyson began developing personal finance software to determine exactly when he could stop being a consultant in Corporate IT.

Forming a start-up based on his software in 2016, Tyson founded OnTrajectory.com. In 2020, he left the corporate-world to focus on both his personal finance platform, as well as his adjunct-professor position at Towson University.

With degrees in both English and Philosophy, as well as serving as an Army officer and pilot in the 1990’s, Tyson brings a wide range of insights to both personal finance as well as personal development in the pursuit of a well-balanced life.
